As the status of more and more computers changes to Ready, you’ll add these assets to waves, which will drive your migration scheduling. A wave consists of a name and description, scheduling details and a set of linked assets. Once you’ve created a wave, you can change some of its properties, such as the Name, Description, Start Goal and End Goal. Other properties, such as Wave Status, Start Actual and End Actual will populate automatically based on workflow task status. Assets can be added on the fly with the Linked Assets button on the right.
Tasks are associated with each wave and are assigned and tracked by resource and date. This screen gives you a detailed view of the Wave.
